PETER SEIFERT moves to to the Legislative Correspondent position in the office of Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-Fla.). Previously, Peter was Staff Assistant in the Buchanan operation. Peter is a 2023 graduate of Sewanee — The University of the South with a BA in Political Science.
ALLY TRIOLI comes to the Hill for the first time to serve as Press Secretary to Rep. Vincent Fong (R-Calif.). Ally comes to the East Coast after five years on the other coast working as Communications Director for Kern County, California. She is also a former News Anchor, Producer and Reporter for Sinclair News.

Ally received her BA in Journalism from the University of Texas in 2017. A California transplant, Ally says “I am a firm believer that once a Longhorn, always a Longhorn.” HillFaith can just hear the “Hook’em Horns!” in response to Ally echoing around the halls of Congress because there are so many Texans on the Hill!
CARMEN LEAL RAMIREZ is the new Legislative Assistant in the office of Sen. Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.). Before coming over the Maryland freshman’s office, Carmen was a Legislative Aide for Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.). She is a 2016 graduate with a BS in Molecular Biology from UCLA. And interestingly, she is also a former Contact Tracer for the Monterey County Health Department!
