HARADEN BOTTOMLEY comes aboard as Communications Director for Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) following nearly two years with Rep. Shiri Thanedar (D-MI) as Press Assistant and Press Secretary. Haraden, whose hometown is Hanover, Massachusetts, is a 2023 graduate of Boston College with a BS in Economics and Political Science.
Carsyn Waldrop is the new Scheduler for Rep. Dale Strong (R-Ala.)(Screenshot from Facebook).
CARSYN WALDROP takes her first plunge into full-time work as a congressional aide serving as Scheduler for Rep. Dale Strong (R-Ala.), following internships with Strong and before that with then-Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala). Carsyn is a 2024 graduate with an Honors BA of the University of Alabama where she was also a member of the Chi Omega sorority. Carsyn’s hometown is Tuscaloosa.
MITCHELL SHEA spent 12 years as a close adviser to House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) and he is now making the move to the Senate side to serve as Policy Aide to Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA). Mitchell’s hometown is New Orleans and he is a 2015 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a BA in Political Science.
KENYA HARRIS is moving up to Digital Director/Press Secretary for Rep. Shontel Brown (D-Ohio) after serving as an Account Manager for SBDigital. The Brown position is Kenya’s first as a congressional staffer, but she previously served as Digital Fund-Raising Manager for Sen. Angela Alsobrooks’ (D-Md.) winning effort in 2024. Kenya is a 2023 American University graduate with an MA in Political Communications and a 2020 graduate of the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa with a BA in Political Science and African-American Studies.
