DAVID COOK returns to the staff of Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) as National Security Advisor. Before coming back to the Hill, David was Executive Director of the Special Operations Association of America. In 2021 and 2022, David was Technology Fellow and Senior Policy Advisor to the California Republican. David’s MA in Strategic Studies came in 2021 from Norwich University, while his BA in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis came in 2017, also from Norwich.

TAYLOR REAVES is now Chief of Staff for House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.). Taylor joins the Emmer operation after a stint as Government Affairs Attorney for Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP. She also has five years of prior experience on multiple House and Senate side staffs. Taylor’s law degree is from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2022 and her BA in Psychology and Communications was awarded in 2013 by the University of Saint Benedict.

ELIZABETH GEORGELIS moves into her first full-time congressional position, filling the Adviser slot on the staff of Rep. Lloyd Smucker (R-Pa.). Elizabeth earned her JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law this year and her BA in Government and Psychology/Pre-Law in 2022 from Franklin & Marshall University.
