STU SANDLER moves into the Chief of Staff slot working for Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.). Previously, Stu was a Partner at OnMessage, Inc. and before that Political Director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). He is a 2002 graduate of the George Washington University Law School and a 1996 Bachelor’s graduate of the University of Michigan.

HANNAH RUMSEY steps into the Communications Director duties working for Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ). Hannah spent several years on the campaign trail working for various Democratic candidates. She is a 2022 BA graduate in Political Science and English from Duke University.
MARIE GUALTIERI brings her PhD in Sociology to the office of Rep. Alma Adams (D-NC) as Legislative Director. Marie’s doctorate was earned from North Carolina State University and her MA in Applied Sociology and BA in Sociology from Central Florida University. She has previously served in various capacities working for Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT).
There is a new Legislative Assistant working in the office of Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and her name is KATHERINE HUISKES. Katherine started her Hill career as a Staff Assistant in the office of Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa) in 2021. She is a 2021 graduate of the University of Virginia with a BA in Foreign Affairs and History, with Distinction.
