DAVID SEYFERTH returns to the Hill after a seven-year absence, taking over duties as Legislative Assistant to Rep. Jahana Hayes (D-CT). Previously, David filled filled arious positions within USAID, most recently as Humanitarian Adviser. He is a 2015 graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies with an MA in International Relations and International Economics. His BA in Political Science and International Studies was awarded by Northwestern University in 2011.
Rep. David Schweikert (R-Az.) has a new Communications Director and his name is MITCHELL SHEDD. Before saddling up with the Arizona Republican, Mitchell was Digital Communications Manager for the Paragon Health Institute. Mitchell’s BS in Psychology was awarded in 2020 by the University of Florida.

JEREMY BROWNER is making his Capitol Hill debut as Counsel for Senate Commerce, Science and Technology Committee Chairman Ted Cruz (R-Texas). Previously, Jeremy was Legal Services Plan Attorney for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Jeremy is a 2001 graduate of Hofstra University’s Maurice Deane School of Law and a 1997 Aviation Technology BS graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical School.
RHETT EDENS makes the big move from Intern for Rep. Jeff Jackson (D-NC) to Communications Fellow for Rep. Deborah Rose (D-NC). Rhett earned her BS in Political Science and Government from the University of the South (Sewanee).
