EMILY HARTSHORN moves up to Senior Legislative Assistant in the office of Rep. Gabe Vasquez (D-NM). Previously, Emily took care of the duties of Legislative Assistant. She is a 2020 graduate of the University of New Mexico with a BA in Political Science and Government.

LAUREN DUDLEY brings her deep experience in both the legislative and executive branches to bear as the new Democratic Staff Director on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Aviation Subcommittee. Previously, Lauren was Special Assistant to the Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board. She is a 2013 graduate of the Washington College of Law at American University and her BA in Political Science and Government was awarded by the University of Maryland in 2009.
VIOLET HIBBARD is the new Scheduler in the office of Rep. Derek Schmidt (R-Ks). Before joining the Kansas lawmaker’s personal staff, Violet did the same work for Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wisc.). She attended Samford University where she was on the Dean’s List.
