BRITT VAN moves into the Legislative Director slot for Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-MI). Britt previously was Senior Policy Director for the National Housing Conference. She is a 2011 BA graduate in Sociology and Asian Studies from Colorado College.

NADIA CORTEZ takes over as Legislative Director for Rep. Eric Sorensen (D-Ill.) after serving stints as Policy Adviser, Senior Legislative Assistant and Legislative Assistant for the Illinois Democrat. Nadia earned her MA in Global Environmental Policy from the American University School of International Service and her BA in International Studies from the University of South Florida.
JASON MURPHY is Legislative Director for newly-elected Rep. Clay Fuller (R-Ga.). Jason comes to Capitol Hill following more than three years as Policy and Communications Manager for the Georgia House Republican Caucus. But this is not Jason’s first rodeo on the Hill, as he served in multiple positions for a decade on the staff of Rep. Tom Graves (R-Ga.). Jason is a 2009 graduate of the George Mason University School of Law and a 2002 BA graduate in Computer Science from Tulane University.
