TESTIMONIES: Anais Found Joy, Contentment in God’s Sovereignty
(4:21 VIEWING) — Anais grew up in New York City and experienced the devastating emotional ups and downs of having parents who often argued, and ultimately divorced, with a result that she constantly felt insecure and found herself searching for the next something that would complete her.

As she grew through adolescence and young adulthood, Anais tried all the usual false gods that people across America pursue, including popularity, money, relationships, and so forth.
But whatever happiness they provided, they always went away, leaving Anais feeling just as insecure and unsure of her purpose in life as before.
Her life changed profoundly when she found the true god, Jesus Christ, and became an active member of a solid church based on the Word of God. That changed everything.
“Now I’m able to rest on God’s providence and His sovereignty, knowing that He ordains whatsoever comes to pass and that everything is for my good,” Anais told Ligonier Ministries.
