TESTIMONIES: Brett May Remind You of Somebody — You!

(7:25 VIEWING) — Brett was born and raised in North Carolina, living at the beach and raised by parents who worked hard and provided a materially good life for him during his growing up years.

But in his teen years, Brett discovered the surfer’s life of riding the waves, partying with friends and not worrying much at all about the future. One thing led to another, though, and Brett found himself addicted to drugs and wondering how things ever got that way.

Brett’s road to salvation, purpose, completion, and the quiet daily joy and security of being a Christian was not an easy one. In fact, he is blessed to have made it alive through all those years of addiction and selfishness.

But the fact he did make it is evidence that, as John tells us in that most famous of all New Testament verses, “God so loved the YOUR NAME GOES HERE that He gave His only begotten son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Brett rode the waves and the drugs, then found Jesus and happiness. (Screenshot from YouTube).

HillFaith’s Testimonies feature often presents people who found Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior as a result of going through great trials and tribulations, most if not all of which were the result of bad choices they made in pursuit of pleasure, praise, power or popularity.

Brett’s case stands out against that background of struggle, defeat and final victory through the power and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
