TESTIMONIES: Country Artist Walker Hayes

(10-MINUTE READ/WATCH) — If you follow Country Music, as millions of Americans do, you are no doubt familiar with the name “Walker Hayes.” He’s not only a successful song-writer and performer, but he also, with his long-time friend Craig Allen Cooper, is co-author of a New York Times-best seller, “Glad You’re Here: Two Unlikely Friends Breaking Bread and Fences.”

Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Walker and his wife, Laney, moved to Nashville intent on making it in the country music world. He did but it didn’t come without a price and the necessity of traveling down the long and painful world of alcohol addiction.

Hayes, assisted by Laney and ministry friend Craig, shared his testimony recently on CBN’s 700 club in the following 9:45 video. There are ups and downs, triumphs and tragedies in this one, my friends, so stay with it to the end because there are great blessings to be had.

And don’t miss the closing remarks of the CBN host Andrew Knox, who follows Hayes’ compelling testimony with exactly the right followup prayer and invitation:
