Former tenured Syracuse University Professor Rosaria Butterfield’s life journey has taken her from being a Lesbian activist and emphatic critic of Christianity to a happily married wife, mother and grandmother who is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

She had earned her Ph.D. in English Literature, was granted tenure in 1999, the same year she converted to Christianity, and taught in the English and Women’s Studies programs at Syracuse from 1992 to 2002. Among her tremendously challenging and interesting books are  “The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert,” “Five Lies of the Anti-Christian Age,” and “The Holy Gospel and Sexuality.”
