TESTIMONIES: From Religious Hypocrisy to Follower of Jesus Christ

If the truth were known, all of us walking around on this Earth have things we’ve done or thought about doing in our past that we would be ashamed for anybody else to know. This includes those among us who do lots of good works and think those good works will be enough when they pass from this Earth for God to say “come on in” to His heaven.
It’s a fact, as Paul tells us at Romans 3:23, “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” It’s also true, as Paul explains at Ephesian 2:8-10 that we “are saved by grace and not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
Paul Paoli’s faith story is an especially intense example of the person who on the outside seems to have it all together, but in reality, is full of guilty, shame, regret and false hopes. Even so, Paul’s story is one of eternal grace and joy, and yours can be as well:
Faith without works = dead.
