TESTIMONIES: How A Skateboard Pro Found Peace and Joy in Jesus Christ
(5:46 VIEWING) — Skate board professional Dave went from just another kid riding a piece of wood with four wheels across, around, over and through every kind of everyday obstacle to being good enough that he was sponsored by Tony Hawk (the world’s best-known skate boarder).

But reaching such an elevated level of skill and fame wasn’t enough. Dave had grown up in a religious home, gone to church and read the Bible.
But those things faded in importance as he advanced on his wheeled plank. There would come a point when all the fame and fun weren’t enough.
There were among Dave’s skateboarding colleagues several who knew Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and the day came when their witness, their obvious joy in life and the difference in their attitudes compared to others made an impression.
When they talked, Dave listened and, one thing led to another, he asked the Lord to come into his heart and be his Lord. Not long after came Em, marriage and a Bible study in their home.
