“And I remember walking in to the locker room and I sit there and I’m going to play in the playoffs, the money is in my bank account, my face is on billboards scoring touchdowns. I’m living the dream, I thought,” Green explains of the pinnacle moment in his pro football career.
“And all I can think to myself was ‘man, what in the world am I going to do now?’ That was probably the emptiest and most desperate I’d ever felt in my life,” Green continued.
