TESTIMONIES: Yoga Was Cara Seymour’s Salvation Until It Failed Her

(10:56 VIEWING) — For unhappy devotees of Yoga, you can never do too much. In fact, as former Yoga leader Cara Seymour learned, if your life isn’t what you want, you are the problem because you aren’t doing enough of the exercises the right way.

“From the outside, my life looked pretty good. I had this relationship, we owned land and a house and we were traveling a lot. I had this beautiful, incredible studio that was very successful on a wordly level,” Cara explained in an interview with CBN’s 700 Club.

“And yet, I was not happy,” she continued.

In 2020, Cara discovered some disturbing Cultish characteristics about her personal Yoga leader which became part of a nationally publicized scandal.

She wondered then “what am I involved in, what is happening?” At that point, Cara’s life fell apart and she moved her and her daughter to North Carolina.

And it was in North Carolina that Cara was invited into a small circle of women friends, who discussed the Bible and their faith. She knew nothing about Jesus or the Bible at the point, but she kept quiet, remained open and listened.
