(10:20 VIDEO) — There is that passage in the New Testament where just before ascending into Heaven Jesus charges His disciples to take the Gospel of Him as Lord and Savior — “the only name given under Heaven by which men can be saved” — to the whole world.
It’s known as “the Great Commission” and it applies to each and every one of those who call themselves followers of Jesus Christ. But if you work on Capitol Hill (or pretty much anywhere else, for that matter!), odds are you are, shall we say, reluctant to share your faith among colleagues. So are we all.
Why is that? If Jesus Christ transformed your life, shouldn’t you be eager to tell others the Good News about the free gift of God? The reality is all of us who are believers have a hard time sharing our faith. But former Los Angeles Police Detective J.
