THINK ABOUT THIS: How Could Jesus So Accurately Predict the Fall of Jerusalem Four Decades Before It Happened?

When the Roman Legions poured through the massive walls around Jerusalem and proceeded to utterly destroy the great city in 70 AD, they did so just as Jesus Christ had told His disciples more than four decades before. The evidence that demonstrates how amazingly accurate was Jesus’s prediction isn’t just in the Bible.

As Kyle Butt of the Apologetics Press points out in the following 7:12 video, there are multiple ancient secular and contemporary archeological sources who describe in great detail the horrors throughout the Roman Empire during the period leading up to the destruction of Israel’s capital city and the manner in which the Legions did so.

This evidence is significant in two major ways. First, it demonstrates that Jesus possessed knowledge of the future, a characteristic that is indicative of divinity. Second, it adds to the abundant evidence of the archeological and historical reliability of the Bible.

So, if Jesus is God and the Bible is the Word of God, what will you do with this reality? Regardless of your conclusion, if you would like to talk about these things further, send an email with the subject line “Buy me some coffee” to: mark.tapscott@hillfaith.org.
