THINK ABOUT THIS: The Difference Between Living It and Merely Talking About Being a Christian

(QUICK READ) — The following is from the July 30, 2025, entry in “The Word for You Today,”  a daily devotional distributed on a quarterly basis and read by more than 4 million people around the world:

“I was hungry  and you formed a Humanities Club to discuss it. I was imprisoned and you stayed home to pray for my release. I was naked and you debated the morality of my appearance. I was sick and you thanked God for you health. I was homeless and you preached to me about the shelter of God’s love.

“You seem so holy and close to God, but I’m still hungry, lonely, cold and in pain. Does it matter to you?”

Don’t just talk about God’s love, show it.

“But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith rapart from  your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” – James 2:18 ESV
