WHAT WOULD YOU SAY: About the Historical Evidence That Jesus is Alive?

Unlike every other religion in the world, Christianity is based upon the life, death and alleged resurrection of its main character, Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Son of Man. Salvation is the result of having a living, personal relationship with Him as your Lord and Savior, not on you performing enough good works to earn it.

Yes, Jesus is A-L-I-V-E. Check out the acrostic! (Screenshot from Is Jesus Alive?)

That fact also means Christianity’s credibility stands or falls on whether or not Jesus really was resurrected, as claimed, thus proving that He is what He claimed to be, God, and therefore very much alive today.

Paul the Apostle made this very point in I Corinthians 15: 14-17, saying:

“And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith is in vain. We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise if it   is true that the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.”

So this issue — is Jesus Christ alive — is intensely relevant to every person on Earth, including you reading this post on HillFaith. In the following 13.28 video, Erik Manning of Is Jesus Alive? goes through the essential evidence, including the Acrostic formed from the letters of the word alive.

Give him a listen, then you can make up your own mind about Jesus based on facts. And regardless of your conclusion, if you would like to talk about it further, send an email with the subject line “Buy me some coffee” to: mark.tapscott@hillfaith.org.
