WHAT WOULD YOU SAY: How Should I Vote if I Don’t Like Either Candidate?

So Joe Blow, the Democrat candidate, scares the daylights out of you and Bill Smith, the GOP candidate, puts you to sleep in a about three sentences, so how do you decide which way to cast your ballot come election day?

The great folks at the Colson Center who produce the “What Would You Say?” video series have three suggestions for you to consider that should at least make it easier to clarify in your own mind where you see such candidates and if there is a way forward for you to cast an informed vote.

But the trio of suggestions should be useful in any election where you have to choose among competing candidates with different policies and proposals. So give a listen to the following 3:30 video and share your thoughts in response in the Comments:

I’ve heard (can’t remember where, who) that “You’re not voting for a prom date”, the point being that “looks”, and “personality” should not be the determining factor in voting. Additionally, a Christian radio personality said that, while we often aren’t given the choice of someone with whom we agree, we can at least (typically) find someone who isn’t against us (an enemy).

This video should be viewed by every Never Trumper voting in 2024. Do Trump supporters agree with everything he says and does. I know I don’t. But objectively speaking, Trump is right on more issues than he is wrong, he puts America and Americans first with his policy decisions, and he is the hardest working president in my lifetime. Those who disagree with the concept of Making America Great Again need to ask themselves what they believe in and why.
