WHAT WOULD YOU SAY: Is This Election The Most Important Ever?
(FOUR-MINUTE READ) — They say it over and over again every two years — “this is the most important election ever because if Candidate X wins, then all will be lost, but if Candidate Y wins, then all of our problems will be solved and we’ll never again have to worry about them.”
As is so often the case with extreme opposites, neither option reflects the reality of the American system of a democratic republic, which is based on the Constitution that specifically limits government to specific duties.
