WHAT WOULD YOU SAY: Should Christians Use ‘Preferred Pronouns?’
A direct result of Transgenderism is the growing incidence of scenarios like this: A woman who becomes convinced she is really a man can find a Doctor who will at her request surgically remove her breasts and reconstruct her genitalia to appear to like that of a man.
The same doctor will then fill her system with hormones like testosterone that have serious consequences for her ability to live something resembling a “normal” life. But guess what, nothing has changed about her body’s DNA, the reality of that fact remains exactly as it was before the surgery.
But the demand that everybody use “preferred pronouns” is so much more than simply seeking to be described by words that do not conform to reality. As the Colson Center’s latest addition to its “What Would You Say?” video series explains, the demand is that the rest of the world conform to her illusion rather than to reality:
