How HillFaith Fulfills Its Purposes
Content that appears on the HillFaith web site is intended to illustrate how the saving, personal relationship with Jesus Christ transforms hearts, minds, cultures and nations, to answer objections of critics of Christianity, and to document the crucial role of the Christian faith in America’s founding generation.
In addition to the web site, HillFaith offers four programs designed to make its resources convenient and available to as many of the 12,000+ aides working on the Senate and House sides of Capitol Hill. These four include:
“For Hill Aides Only” (FHAO) is HillFaith’s weekly apologetics and Bible study for Senate and House aides. The FHAO study meets every Monday at 12:30 pm at the Faith & Liberty Ministry Center, 109 2nd Street NE, a townhouse with the 10 Commandments in the front yard and located right behind the U.S. Supreme Court building. Lunch is provided at no cost. For more information, email: mark.tapscott@hillfaith.org
HillFaith also offers Zoom and Hill meeting room video-based courses led by Mark, including “God’s Crime Scene” that meets for an hour once a week for eight weeks, and “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist” that meets similarly. For more information on scheduling and locations, email: mark.tapscott@hillfaith.org.
Coverage of issues and developments concerning Hill staff employment appears regularly on HillFaith, mainly via “HILL STAFF NEWS: New Hires, Job Promotions, Open Positions, Great Opportunities,” and “HILL STAFF VIEWS.”
Mentoring is provided via Mark’s “Office Hours” scheduling. We can set a time to meet in person on the Hill. Or we can schedule a Face-time call or Zoom meeting at a convenient time. These conversations are always GUARANTEED TO BE CONFIDENTIAL AND OFF-THE-RECORD. Coffee/Tea/Soda/Water is on HillFaith. No Sermons, No Judgement, Just Good Counsel.
