CONSIDER THIS: No, Christians Did Not Create Jesus by Copying Horus

It’s a regularly heard claim among skeptics who insist that Jesus Christ was invented by His disciples, who in desperation after the crucifixion turned to the Egyptian god Horus and used it to create the myth that the Christians’ Son of God was raised from the dead.

In fact, as Michael Jones of Inspiring Philosophy explains in the following 3:51 video, there are virtually no parallel characteristics among Horus and Jesus. If Jesus disciples made up anything, they did out of whole cloth and the Egyptian deity was nowhere to be found:
