HILL STAFF VIEWS: Most Aides in Both Parties Prefer Different Presidential Candidate

More than three-quarters, 77 percent,  of all congressional aides from both political parties who responded to the latest CNCT Capitol Pulse survey said they would name a new presidential candidate if they got the opportunity.

Among Democratic staffers, 88 percent said they would name somebody other than President Joe Biden, while 70 percent of the Republican aides would prefer somebody other than former President Donald Trump.

Younger staffers, those under 30 years of age, 21 percent said they would not replace their party’s presumptive presidential nominees, compared to 17 percent of those older than 30 years of age.
