IRREDUCIBLE MIND: You Can’t See or Hold It but You Know You’ve Got One
Much of the conventional wisdom in the scientific and academic spaces holds that reality is made up solely of the natural or material universe. If it’s not natural or material, it doesn’t exist. That means, among much else, there is no such thing as the supernatural or non-material.
But what about your mind, your consciousness? It’s impossible to put your mind on a scale to measure, you can’t see where it is to point out its location in space, and nobody else hears it when you are using it.
So your mind isn’t a material object but there is no question in your mind that your mind exists! But are your mind and consciousness the same as or produced by your brain? Michael Jones of InspiringPhilosophy narrates the five-part video series IRREDUCIBLE MIND: You Are Not Just A Brain.
This fascinating series of videos appeared this week on HillFaith and generated more viewers each day. That is no surprise considering there is so much amazing content here from science, medicine, Quantum Biology and statistic analysis.
Here are links to each of the five installments. They average about 20 minutes each (except Part 3, which is a bit longer) and I guarantee you that watching all five will be a wise and memorable investment of your time and mind’s attention:
IRREDUCIBLE MIND (Part 1): You Are Not Just A Brain.
IRREDUCIBLE MIND (Part 2): Mind Over Matter
IRREDUCIBLE MIND (Part 3): There Is No Evidence The Brain Creates Consciousness
IRREDUCIBLE MIND (Part 4): Is Your Soul Quantum?
IRREDUCIBLE MIND (Part 5): Is There Life After Death?
