MYTH-BUSTERS: TikTok Muslim Claims to Have Found THE Biggest Bible Contradiction

Erik Manning of Is Jesus Alive? responds to a Muslim advocate on Tik Tok who claimed to have found the biggest of all Bible contradictions because the four Gospels allegedly give differing accounts of Jesus’ last words on the cross.

Essentially, Manning’s response is that differing details do not automatically equate to contradictory details. In John 19:30, for example, His last words are recorded as “It is finished.” But at Luke 23:46, Jesus said “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.”

That’s just one of multiple examples of pulling out different descriptions and attributing to them one or more contradictions that Bible critics then typically point to as “evidence” that scripture is not the inspired Word of God. Not even close, Manning demonstrates in the following 4:16 video:
