Do You Know The Seven Ways All Men Are Created Equal?
(7:22 VIDEO) — Few Americans under the age of 30 have more than a surface understanding of the original meaning of the Declaration of Independence’s affirmation that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Note the reference to “all men are created equal,” which has inspired repeated efforts across American history to bring that particular affirmation to full realization, beginning with the Abolitionists in the years prior to the Civil War.
But because our education system has failed to share the full story about the Declaration (among much else in our nation’s founding), it is a blessing that courageous scholars like Dr. John West of the Discovery Institute are resolved to step into the gap. Thus, his superb recently published “Endowed by Our Creator,” which is a superb exploration of the Declaration’s original meaning and how it has been lost in the centuries since 1776,
