TESTIMONIES: This Neurosurgeon’s Work on Human Brains Led Him to Christ
(10:24 VIEWING) — Dr. Michael Egnor grew up in a “non-religious home,” so he didn’t have the benefit of being exposed at an early age to the claims of Jesus Christ to be the Way, the Truth and the Life, nor His claim to have been resurrected from the dead. He was an atheist and a materialist, pure and simple.
As he explains to Dr. Sean McDowell in the following Aspiring Christian video, Egnor was fascinated by science from his youth. He became a neurosurgeon and spent a great deal of time studying the human brain. As the years went by, he encountered things about brains for which brains his education had not prepared him.
And then came the crisis in his personal life that drove Egnor to the chapel in a hospital where he was doing a consult. I won’t tell you more at this point but I do strongly encourage you to prepare to learn things our brains and quite possibly the spiritual center of your life that will absolutely astound you.
